“No Parking” Rules Start Friday at 10PM on St. Patrick’s Parade Route

(BINGHAMTON, N.Y.) — As significant snow accumulations are expected, Mayor Richard C. David announced that “No Parking” rules will be aggressively enforced starting Friday, March 2 at 10 p.m. on the St. Patrick’s Parade route to assist snow removal efforts.

The enforcement area includes:

  • Main St., from Arthur St. to the Court St. Bridge
  • Court St., from the Court St. Bridge to Carroll St.

Cars parked in these areas after 10 p.m. Friday will be towed.

The Binghamton Police Department will also be enforcing alternate side parking rules to ensure plows can access streets and operate safely. Vehicles parked illegally and blocking plow routes will be towed. Residents are strongly encouraged to move vehicles off streets and into driveways, public garages or lots at City parks.

Mayor David and City public safety personnel thank all residents in advance for their cooperation.
