National Night Out

The Binghamton Police Department participates with several neighborhood groups on National Night Out, usually held in August. National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for, and participate in local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships, and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. 

Events and entertainment will be held at several Binghamton City parks and locations. Binghamton's Night Out participating locations include: Saratoga Apartments, Carlisle Apartments, Columbus Park, Fairview Park, The Boys and Girls Club, Broome County Library, and Cheri A. Lindsey Park.
