CITY OF BINGHAMTON - NOTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABILITY
The City of Binghamton is seeking proposals for its “One Dollar Healthy Homes Initiative,” in which applicants may purchase the City of Binghamton owned residential property located at 45 Brook Ave. for $1.00 and receive up to $100,000 in reimbursable funding to develop a City of Binghamton owned property located at 45 Brook Avenue as part of the city’s goal to eliminate blight, promote healthier neighborhoods, and boost homeownership.
The City of Binghamton will be holding site inspection times for interested parties to examine each structure to assess the rehabilitation needs. The schedule for site inspections is available in the application package.
Application packets may be obtained at the City’s Department of Planning, Housing, and Community Development (PHCD), 4th Floor, City Hall, or by downloading document below.
Completed applications must be received by the City’s Planning, Housing and Community Development Department, 4th Floor, City Hall on or before 3:45pm Friday, February 27, 2015.
